Dog Boarding in Atlanta

Whether it’s for a night, a week, a month or more, your dog will enjoy the amenities and benefits of Piedmont Bark in Midtown Atlanta. Most boarding guests spend the day playing and interacting with dogs of similar size and temperament in one of our three spacious indoor playrooms. All dogs enjoy the human touch of our caring attendants. Each dog gets a private run or cage for sleeping and eating. Boarding dogs are taken outdoors at least three times a day for a break in routine, fresh air and to "do their business".

Since each pet is unique, we ask that you fill out our registration form and let us know any of your pet’s special needs such as required medications, special diets, exercise requirements, etc. Once we have received your registration, we verify vaccination records with your veterinarian. We require written proof of Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccines. Please note that many veterinarians administer the Bordatella vaccination only by request. Vaccinations must be by a licensed veterinarian and must be current 24 hours before the pet arrives. Once your pet is registered, it takes just minutes to make a reservation. All dogs must be registered before you make your first reservation.

When boarding your dog, we recommend that you bring the food your dog is used to eating so that your dog's diet is not upset while boarding with us. Also feel free to bring your dog’s favorite treats or biscuits. We will also gladly accommodate diets that require refrigeration. If you chose not to bring your dog’s food, we will serve your dog our premium house food for a nominal charge. Please note that cannot accept food containers made of glass or porcelain, or any material that could easily shatter. There is no need to bring your dog’s food bowl or water bowl; we have several of our own. Additionally, due to safety concerns, most toys cannot be permitted. You may bring beds or blankets for your dog, but it is not recommended that you bring anything uniquely valuable (with so many dogs around, there’s always the chance that something may get chewed!). If you have something you would like to bring that you feel would make your dog’s stay more comfortable, please feel free to call and discuss it with us. We will be happy to accommodate if we can. Our goal is to make your dog’s stay as comfortable and fun-filled as possible.

At our Midtown Atlanta location, dogs may arrive Monday through Friday from 7am to 6:30pm, on Saturday from 8am to 4pm, and from noon until 5pm on Sunday. Reservations are required, but we may be able to accommodate last minute reservations for registered dogs.

Dog boarding is a stay up to 24 hours and includes daycare.

Daycare for Dogs in Atlanta

Dogs just love daycare at Piedmont Bark. With ample room to play, lots of human attention and plenty of canine companionship, it’s just the thing for the bored, stressed or lonely pet. If you work long hours, daycare benefits both you and your pet.

A typical day at Piedmont Bark starts at 7am when the dogs first arrive. They are grouped into individual playgroups according to their size and temperament and assigned to one of our four indoor play areas. Each playroom is a bright and cheery park-like setting, with plenty of natural and artificial light. The floor is made of reinforced concrete and has built in-drains to facilitate rapid cleanup.

All dogs play until mid-morning, at which time they are walked outside (if necessary) then returned to the playroom until around noon, at which time all playgroups have nap and rest time. This gives them a chance to relax and drink some water after a rambunctious fun-filled morning. Feel free to bring lunch or a snack for your dog to be given during this time. Afterwards, dogs remain running in the playroom, with the exception of potty breaks, until you pick them up.*

* After Hours Pick-Ups: If you are unable to pick up your dog before closing time, you may notify us at 404-873-5400 to make arrangements for a friend or relative to pick up for you, or to make boarding arrangements for the night. After hours pick-ups may be possible depending on staff availability for a nominal charge of $25 if advance notice is given. If you forget to call us, you can still feel comfortable that your dog will be well taken care of and will receive plenty of bedding, food, and water for the night.

Dog Wash

Keep your bathroom clean with our full-service luxury dog wash. If you choose, you can do it yourself! Piedmont Bark provides elevated tubs, hot and cold water, and high-powered sprays for quick and easy bathing without all of the mess. Additionally, we provide shampoo, towels, a hair dryer and brushes.

Self-serve bathing is on a first come first served basis and is available M-F. 8 am - 6:30 pm, Sat. 8 am - 5 pm, & Sun. 12 pm - 5pm. If you chose not to do it yourself, we can bathe your dog for you. Please check on availability and schedule a time with one of our staff members.

Professional Grooming is available by appointment. Prices vary depending on breed and length of coat

New Piedmont Bark Birthday Party Package

Celebrate your dog’s birthday with a fun-filled gathering of friends, family, and canine companions! We provide the essentials (see list below), you provide the fun! At your disposal, for 2 hours, you will have access to 1,900 sq. ft. of play space for the dogs along with access to our 2,000 sq. ft. outdoor area for doggy bathroom purposes. Additionally, you will have one Piedmont Bark staff member to help monitor the dogs and to assist with any doggy clean-up. A CD-player will be available for your use as well. Doggie Birthday Parties are hosted on Sundays between the hours of 2-4pm. If needed, you can arrive an hour early to set up.

Please note: Canine party guests must be social and non-aggressive toward people and other dogs and must be up-to-date on their Rabies, Bordatella, and DHLP-Parvo vaccinations. Piedmont Bark must be provided with proof of vaccinations for each canine attendee at least 2 days prior to the event. Upon arrival, all guests will be asked to sign the required Sebastian Enterprises, LLC - Piedmont Bark Release Form.
